A panoramic walking tour, showing you the famous tourist highlights of the city. This tour includes several of the most important historical points of interest, including:

 The religious and political centres of Florence, including the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with its world famous dome by Brunelleschi; the Baptistry and Giotto’s Bell Tower; the Piazza della Signoria with its Palazzo Vecchio, the symbol of public power; the loggia of the Uffizi, one of the most famous and important museums in the world; and the Piazza della Republica, the centre of the city.

Additonally, the tour will visit the Ponte Vecchio, which, along with Brunelleschi’s dome is perhaps the most famous image of Florence throughout the world; before crossing the Arno river to the Oltrarno (the area ‘beyond the river’) to see the majestic Piazza Pitti and the district around  the Basilica of Santo Spirito.

Included in this type of itinerary is a visit to some of the most important museums in Florence: the Uffizi Gallery, and the Accademia Gallery; in these museums you can see some of the most important masterpieces of Italian art.
